Effective Monday, October 8, 2007, the Board of Directors of the National Institute for Urban Entrepreneurship increased its Board membership to six members. Nathanial "Nat" Alston, Jr., President of the Horizons Group, LLC (MD), and Renee McMullen, President/CEO Moments That Matter and Director - Programs & Events of The Peoples Community Baptist Church Chamber of Commerce (MD) were named to the NIUE Board of Directors. Additionally, Nat Alston was named to the office of Executive Director and Renee McMullen was named to the office of Program Director. Patricia H. Lee, formerly the President of NIUE, was promoted to Chairman of the Board of NIUE. Also, on the NIUE Board is Gerald A. Smith (IL), Dr. Jeffrey Robinson (NY) and Rochelle Brown (IL).

(WASHINGTON, DC) .Effective Monday, October 8, 2007, the Board of Directors of the National Institute for Urban Entrepreneurship increased its Board membership to six members. Nathanial "Nat" Alston, Jr., President of the Horizons Group, LLC (MD), and Renee McMullen, President/CEO Moments That Matter and Director - Programs & Events of The Peoples Community Baptist Church Chamber of Commerce (MD) were named to the NIUE Board of Directors. The National Institute for Urban Entrepreneurship is a nonprofit, nonpartisan DC corporation that develops and implements legal and entrepreneurship programs that support the growth of viable, sustainable businesses by entrepreneurs and is a national catalyst for a culture of entrepreneurship.
